Clergy asks political leaders to unite Kenyans, as protests rock parts of the country
Catholic Bishops have urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to unite the country as protests emerge in opposition strongholds following announcement of presidential results.
The clergy called upon political leaders to respond quickly to the on going riots in some parts of the country.
They further urged Kenyans to hold peaceful protest adding that the country will still remain after elections.
“I understand it is painful to lose but we should exercise our constitutional right by protesting peacefully and not destroy each others property” the said in a statement.
