Protests against continued stay in office of IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba won’t end until the NASA leadership directs otherwise.

Kisumu Senator Fred Outa said NASA supporters will stand firm and continue with the demonstrations. Only Raila, they said will instruct them to suspend the picketing.

Opposition supporters led by MPs John Mbadi (Suba) and Gladys Wanga (Homa Bay Woman Rep) lead protests in Nairobi Friday.

“We will continue with the demonstrations until Kenya is a peaceful and democratic nation. This will be here for a long time,” said Outa.

He spoke while addressing journalists in Kisumu where protesters engaged in running battles with the police.

NASA is presently carrying out protests across the country. The opposition wants IEBC commissioners who allegedly bungled the August 8 general election removed from office before a fresh poll is held.

Nyanza Regional Commissioner Wilson Njega said Friday police will deal firmly with demonstrators in Kisumu who will defy the ban to hold protests as ordered by acting Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi’.
