I’m fine, says businessman Chris Kirubi over reports of deteriorating health
Business mogul Chris Kirubi has said he is fine following reports that he has been flown to the US to seek specialised treatment.
Reports emerged Wednesday that the businessman with interest in the financial, aviation and real estate industries had been airlifted to the US in critical condition and was foreshadowed to undergo an operation.
The reports indicated he was in critical condition and he had been flown out of the country after an unsuccessful operation at the Karen Hospital.
Kirubi in response to the reports said on Twitter: “Dear Kenyans on Twitter, thank you for your concern. I’d like to reassure you that I am okay, strong and going about my business. Remember, business first.”
Kirubi is a multi-billionaire entrepreneur, industrialist and philanthropist.
He is the director at Centum Investment, a business conglomerate in which he is the largest single shareholder.
