Mvita MP Abdulswamad Nassir has disclosed his plan to vie for the Mombasa gubernatorial seat in 2022.

Nassir who succeeded in defending his MP seat in the just concluded general election is one of Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho’s right-hand me in Coast region.

He is among MPs who joined hands with Joho to campaign for NASA leader Raila Odinga ahead of the August 8 polls.

“We pray that God grants us life so that I serve you in a much bigger capacity in 2022.”
