The National Super Alliance presidential candidate Raila Odinga has asked the electoral body to move with speed and make available the voter register.

Odinga who was speaking in Kiminini-Transzoia County while on a vote hunting mission took issue with the IEBC for taking too long to officially publish the register to Kenyans even after the verification process ended.

The opposition chief further gave the Chebukati-led team up to Tuesday next week to publish the voter register to aid in elections preparations.

“We are now giving the IEBC up to next Tuesday to publish the voter register,” said Odinga while at a rally in Kiminini.

He also accused the Jubilee administration of being behind the current skyrocketing cost of living.

“Jubilee government have destroyed the economy…. Even the maize imported from Mexico has been found to be unfit for human consumption” said Odinga.

He further said that Nasa leaders will not get involved with doing business with the government they serve. But they will heal the country from ‘Jubilee-inflicted ailments’ should they win the contest in August.

“Kenya is now in Intensive Care Unit(ICU)……When we win the elections, we will heal this country on the fourth day,” said Odinga amid cheers from the crowd.
