Ruto commits to support Laboso development agenda
Former Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto has reiterated his support for his successor Joyce Laboso in discharging her duties.
Ruto, who is the Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM) party leader said he would not interfere with Laboso’s development agenda in her five-year tenure.
“I wish to state here in broad day light that I will not sabotage your administration in any way. Rest assured that I will offer you my support whenever and wherever I can in rolling out development agenda to benefit the people of Bomet county,” Ruto told the Governor.
“The support I have offered for President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto’s government is the same I will accord you (Laboso) as the Governor,” he added.
Laboso and Ruto shared a platform during a prize-giving day for KCPE exam top performers at Chelsa Academy in Bomet town on Friday.
