Following last night’s intense rains, residents of Nairobi’s South C neighborhood woke up to find their estate completely flooded. Speaking, a few locals attributed the ongoing threat of flooding in the area on inadequate drainage and nonexistent streams. Numerous roads in the estate were inundated by the storm, causing water to seep into homes. After three years of residing in South C, an estate resident expressed significant consideration of transferring to a new estate due to floods. Throughout the estate’s lakes on Sunday, drivers were observed both driving and wading through. Locals are afraid of something without speaking about it. Murder trial for Sharon Otieno postponed when suspect Caspal Obiero accidentally lost his wife and children.The suspect Caspal Obiero lost his wife and children in an accident, therefore the murder trial for Sharon Otieno was postponed .May 6, 2024 is the new date for the hearing in the murder case involving the former Okoth Obado and two other individuals .This comes after it was revealed to the court that Caspal Obiero, the third accused party, had suffered a loss. Caspal’s family has not yet buried the deceased after losing his wife and kids in a car accident in March, the court was informed .The hearing was scheduled for this week, but Caspal , through his attorneys, requested that the court grant him time to leave the office and informed the court that he would not be able to attend today’s sessions.
