‘Sea’: Nairobi’s High-End Estate Flooded Following Overnight Rains . Following last night’s intense rains, residents of Nairobi’s South C neighborhood woke up to find their estate completely flooded. Speaking, a few locals attributed the ongoing threat of flooding in the area on inadequate drainage and nonexistent streams. Numerous roads in the estate were inundated by the storm, causing water to seep into homes. After three years of residing in South C, an estate resident expressed significant consideration of transferring to a new estate due to floods.
